At the Rotterdam Community Center, we nourish our neighbors in mind, body, and soul, and serve as a community hub where all people can connect to the resources they need.

Formed by the historic 2021 consolidation of the former Trinity Reformed Church into Messiah Lutheran Church, the former Trinity church space is now a resource for everyone in our community, no matter their religious affiliation! We are an open table for the people of Rotterdam and the Greater Schenectady area where neighbors of all backgrounds can gather safely and without judgement to support, learn and grow together.

The Rotterdam Community Center (RCC) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to nourishing our neighbors in mind, body, and soul. Serving as a trusted hub in the community, RCC offers a wide range of programs that promote wellness, literacy, social connection, and access to basic needs. We do this through focusing on three key program areas: 1) nutrition security; 2) arts, culture and leisure; 3) serving as a community hub.

We welcome and actively invite people of all ages, races, ethnicities, nationalities, sexual orientations, gender identities, gender expressions, relationship statuses, socioeconomic statuses, disabilities, and mental and physical conditions into full participation in activities at the Rotterdam Community Center.
