Bread of Life Food Pantry
Second Monday of the Month from 3:00pm to 8:00pm

Third Monday of the Month from 9:00am to 2:00pm


The Bread of Life Food Pantry can help you with three meals for three days per member of your household. To set up an appointment, call 518.364.3205, leave your name and the best phone number to contact you, and we will assist you as soon as we can! Upon arrival for your appointment, you'll be invited to fill out a form regarding what food items they'd like to to take home. Our friendly volunteers will then fill the order and bring it to you.​

1:00 pm: Quilting Group

Open for new and experienced sewists! Bring your own sewing machine in good working order, machine needles, and a spool of cotton thread. You should have at least a basic understanding of how to operate your sewing machine. If you can sew a straight line, YOU CAN QUILT! Open to adults 18 years and older. 5:30 pm Gentle Yoga with Jean Marie CYT, LMT

Open to all, although minors need to be accompanied by a parent or guardian. No cost or commitment to attend.

7:00pm Ceramics Class
Second and Fourth Wednesdays

Brooks BBQ to Benefit the Rotterdam Community Center

Join us for a Brooks Barbecue Fundraiser supporting programs and services at the Rotterdam Community Center, including our food pantries, community hub classes, and arts and culture programming. Chicken dinners are $16 and include: chicken, baked potato with butter, dinner roll, coleslaw, and dessert. We will also have a limited supply of chicken only for $11 each.

Community History Night Saving the Stockade: The Legacy of Feibes and Schmitt

Over more than 300 years of continuous habitation, Schenectady's Stockade neighborhood experienced massive changes. But in the 20th century, the unique historic area was nearly destroyed. Enter Werner Feibes and Jim Schmidt, two architects with a passion for preservation. In this presentation, we'll see how these men led the movement that saved the Stockade and created New York State's first Historic District.

BYOD Gayme Night
